Dance Connections 2021 Summer Intensive

Threads Dance Project is excited to announce the return of our unique summer intensive experience! Over the years we have developed a one-of-a-kind dance training opportunity specifically designed to bring diverse youth together through the connective power of dance. Even more exciting is that this year’s intensive will serve as a preliminary workshop where students can get early practice with audition material in preparation for our upcoming audition for our new pre-professional dance training program, Youth Dance Project (YDP) scheduled for July 31st.

Our Dance Connections 2021 Summer Intensive includes developmentally appropriate movement classes in Ballet, Modern, Creative Movement, Composition/Choreography, Improvisation, and Hip-Hop. We are especially eager for your student to experience the distinctive arts activism and dance history course that gives our summer intensive its name! The Threads Dance Nexus teaching staff are not only impressive movers but also experienced educators who ensure all students grow their artistry while also learning about dance as an art form, their community, and most importantly themselves.

We invite you to join us in our bright and airy new studio this summer where your student will enjoy rigorous dance education in a fun and inclusive atmosphere. Come learn, experience, create and connect with us!
