Rent a Dance Studio Near Minneapolis-Saint Paul

Threads Dance Nexus is a premier dance facility in the Twin Cities metro area. We welcome you to rent the space when not in use for rehearsals and classes. Please complete the Rental Inquiry Form below for first-time rentals.

Rental Policies

Anyone entering the studio must remove street shoes before entering to protect our Marley flooring. For a complete list of rules for renting the Nexus, see our Rental Policies.

General Rental Hours:

Mon., Tues., Thurs., 1-9:00 pm

Wed., Fri-Sun 8:00 am-9:00 pm

Please Note: Our general office hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. We will respond to rental inquiries submitted outside these hours within the next 2-3 business days during our regular business hours.

We may be unable to accommodate rental requests received less than 5 business days before the desired rental start date.

Conveniently located in the Seward Neighborhood, we offer free lot parking and free side street parking. Threads Dance Nexus is a 5-minute walk from the Franklin Light Rail Station, and a 2-5 minute walk from the nearest bus stops (lines 2, 9, 22, 67).

Hourly Rental Rates*

**NEW Rental Rates Effective as of February 1, 2026

  • General Usage (For-profit, events, etc.) / $44 per hour

  • 501(c)3 / Individual Artists / $27 per hour

  • BIPOC / College Students / $22 per hour

If you’re renting space through Threads, please be aware there is an additional 10% charge above the regular base rate for renters who charge fees during their rental.

Those seeking recurring rentals of 5+ hrs./week may be eligible for a discounted Partner Rental Rate. Please email nexusrentals@threadsdance.org to inquire.
