Registration is now open for Threads' Advanced-Professional Summer Intensive, known for its incredible diversity of class offerings in both Performers and Choreographers tracks.
This 5-day workshop offers an intensive, in-depth exploration of advanced dance techniques, dance composition, and business designed to elevate both the technical and creative aspects of performance and choreography for professional and pre-professional-level dancers ages 16 and up.
Threads recognizes that a love for dance can lead artists down various career paths from performer, to choreographer, teacher, or administrator. To honor the diversity of the 21st century dance field, our Summer Intensive features two specialized tracks: the Performer’s Track and the Choreographer’s Track.
Can’t pick just one? Participants also have the option to register for both tracks for the most immersive experience!

Performer’s Track
Classes in the Performer’s Track will deepen your technical mastery and performance skills through a diverse range of styles, including Contemporary, Modern, African , Ballet, Jazz, and more. These sessions are designed to push the boundaries of your physicality, expression, and stage presence.
Choreographer’s Track
The Choreographer’s Track focuses on the art of creation, offering classes in Repertoire, Composition, and Improvisation. In addition, participants will engage in in-depth studies on key industry topics such as Grant Writing & Funding, Show Production, and more.
